Spawning and observing the spectacle

Large female trout swim upriver from the sea to spawn in October-November. Shallow rapids are ideal spawning grounds for the endangered trout.

During the peak spawning season, you can easily observe during the daytime too.

Gravel fields for spawning can be found on either side of the bridge.
